Whole Again

Christmas has come early! My husband has actually agreed to getting a piano.  He's never been against the idea, he tells me he has always wanted one.  To have a wife that plays is just an added bonus.

Well, it arrived yesterday.  Friday (the fact that it was Friday was just an added bonus). I got the call at 11:30 and I wasn't expecting it until 2.  As luck would have it my server was crashing and every public website I had was currently down.  I told them I'd be there in 20 mins.

Magically I got things back up and within 10 mins I was out the door, waving goodbye to my coworker who continued to talk to me as I left.

To the bat mobile, or really just my little Honda encrusted with kid crap.  I made it home in about 15 and as I pulled up to the house they were just getting her off the truck.  The ramp was placed on my porch steps and 5 mins later she was in place.

Hello World

It's Just Kat.  I'm not really alone, I'm mom to 2 crazy rug rats and wife to one loving husband.  I work full time in IT, I'm addicted to GIS.  My husband takes credit for my title, he signs his blog comments as just Karl.  I didn't realize I had copied him until after the action was already done.  Most of my ideas are not original, I like to think of it as copying the best traits of my friends and family.  I take a piece of them and try to make a better me. I program web applications the same way.
